Global printing industry leader Inkcups announces the global launch of the XJET Switch, a groundbreaking digital printer for direct-to-bag and hard goods applications. This new addition to the XJET range is the first UV flatbed printer designed with bag decoration quality in mind. As the ‘Switch’ title indicates, the new machine boasts flexible capabilities for both pliable and hard goods, manual load and automated load and index – either 180 or 90 degrees if some pretreatment is required.
The XJET Switch is a revolutionary UV flatbed printer that produces high-quality images in CMYKWW, (highly opaque, white), directly on a wide range of bags and other hard goods. Its capabilities are exceptional, making it a great solution for decorating reusable shopping bags of all colors and materials.

Four rotating platens are a feature of the XJET Switch that maximizes productivity by allowing two print setups to be done simultaneously. The system also offers customization options, which allow the platens of the system to be configured according to customer needs. It is possible to print three-up or four-up within the area. The industrial design also allows for pre-treatment to be integrated.
This industrial printer was designed specifically for 3-shift production, and allows rapid printing with exceptional quality. This industrial printer is equipped with cutting-edge features such as automatic wiping, caping, and purging stations, a white recirculating, indexer servo, two UV 16-watt lamps and many other functionalities that ensure high-resolution prints for a premium-quality finished product.
The XJET Switch, when used with the flexible XFLEXX series of UV Inks, highlights its versatility, decorating a wide range of reusable totes, eliminating cracking and distortion as the bags naturally move with use. Vivid White is the most outstanding ink amongst the series. It delivers a white that is brighter, more opaque, and rivals the white produced by competing processes.
