Thomas Meurers manages the Trade Cooperation

RGF – The Multipliers, Cologne–Sascha Gleich starts at the RGF. He will be the RGF consortium’s head, along with Thomas Meurers, starting April 1, 2023. Sascha will assume responsibility for the labeling/packaging and light production printing segments of the four Specialty Printing clusters. Thomas Meurers remains focused on the Textiles & Office Solutions segments. He is also the contact person for friendly association groups and the RGF’s cooperations.

Sascha Gleich looks back at a career that spanned over 30 years in technology, sales, and management. He was significantly involved in the development and market launch in 2012 of OKI‘s then revolutionary white toner systems for T-shirt transfer. In 2019, he was also involved in the launch of the OKI Pro1040 color label printer, and the white Pro1050. Sascha was most recently responsible for marketing and sales support in EMEA for OKI Europe’s Label Printing, Transfer Printing, and Light Production Printing product lines.

Sascha Gleich was born 1970 in Düsseldorf. He lives in Düsseldorf with his wife and two daughters. Sascha is a passionate golfer and suffering supporter of Fortuna Düsseldorf.

The Cluster for Specialty Printing
1. Labeling/Packaging is a combination of solutions that can be used to print digital colour labels and on different packaging from qualified RGF members.

2. Light Production Printing includes various production and large format printing options, mainly from EPSON, OKI Ricoh, Ricoh, and EFI.

3. Textile: The RGF range includes DTG, DTF and web printing solutions for direct to fabric and sublimation.

4. Office Solutions is an area of cross-selling for the RGF. The RGF is an HP Master Dealer and offers its members the chance to provide printing solutions for their customers. The partnership with Büroring eG is one of the current cooperative group partnerships for this segment. The members of Büroring and the RGF benefit equally from the cooperation at the level of the association group headquarters.

A new course for the segments will be established in 2023. RGF affiliated shops will be able to form new strategic partnerships and offer innovative solutions that will enhance the position of specialist retailers. This will make them stronger and more resilient for future crises.

About RGF – The Multipliers
Founded in 1985 as the registered association „Ring Grafischer Fachhändler“ by eleven specialist dealers at the time, the RGF has accompanied the digitisation of the graphic arts industry from the very beginning. Its role has evolved and expanded significantly over the years. Today, under the label „RGF – The Multipliers“, it acts as a central marketing agency and negotiates and administers numerous supply contracts with renowned manufacturers on behalf of the now 40 specialist dealers.

Many new focuses were established with the 2009 takeover by Thomas Meurers of the GmbH. On one hand, the RGF opened up to independent consultants, six of whom are now members, and on the other hand, it increased its manufacturer-independent competence.

The RGF also responded to technological advances in the printing industry by establishing so-called Specialty Printing Clusters. For special applications, these clusters provide a range of coherent solutions, which include software, hardware, consumables, and expertise. They are crucial in the RGF’s future viability.
