The GS2 is a desktop cutter that offers a high level of productivity and cutting power. It can cut up to 500 gf at a maximum speed of 850 mm/s. It’s capable of cutting a wide variety of materials – ranging from thin heat transfer sheets and window films to thick paper and rubber sheets for sandblasting, as well as commonly used vinyl sheets – quickly and accurately. The GS2’s small footprint allows it to be easily placed on a desktop. Users can also use the stand included to free up space on their desk.
The GS2 combines exceptional functionality with unparalleled Roland DG durability. This makes it unbeatable for many applications such as sports apparel, T-shirt customization and indoor and outdoor advertising and signs, vehicle graphics and office displays. The GS2 can read the four crop marks and automatically cut along the defined cut line. Roland DG CutStudio design program is included. It makes it easy to create cut data, such as text, simple shapes and illustrations. This powerful and user-friendly software makes it easy to extract outlines from image data. The GS2 also comes with dedicated plug-in software for outputting directly from Adobe® Illustrator® and CorelDRAW®, which are both widely used in the design field.
Roland DG Connect is compatible with GS2 and users will appreciate its ease-of-use. It’s a cloud-based application that maximizes customer satisfaction, improves workflow, and provides greater business insights.
