“SK Group has been serving our community for more that 30 years,” said MPP Ross Romano.

The funding will enable the purchase of equipment to expand the business and create five additional full-time employees.

The money will be used by the company to buy a new direct-to–garment (DTG), printer, which will increase production capabilities, reduce production timelines, and keep up with increasing demand.

SK Group Inc. is a manufacturing firm that specializes in custom branding solutions. Products and services include imprintable wearables as well as printing for signs banners and decals.

Sherry Berlinghoff, president of SK Group Inc., said, “The implementation of this new printing process will allow us to reduce our overall water consumption by up to 240,000 litres per year. DTG printing will shorten our turnaround times, provided greater design flexibility, and provide an eco-friendly alternative for apparel printing.”
