TLC Cleaning and Knight Printing wrap up Stuff the Car event – InForum

FARGO — TLC Cleaning and Knight Printing delivered the donations they received for their first-annual Stuff the Car event Monday, Dec. 19.

These two local businesses have teamed up to collect winter gear on TLC company vehicles from Nov. 15 to December 15.

They donated the donations to the New Life Center, and the YWCA Cass Clay.

The original goal of the program, which was to fill two cars in warm clothes, was not achieved. They were able to fill three-and-a half cars.

Kari Boynton, TLC’s director of marketing events and marketing, said that the program was supported by many of their customers.

“All the houses that we clean, we brought back many bags with our cleaners and marked notes for this event.

Donated clothing will be used by the New Life Center to help those who are in need. If the clothing is not suitable for the men served, it will go to the center’s thrift shop to be sold to raise funds.

TLC has decided to keep the event going due to the positive response. They plan to hold the event again next year and also to expand it to Grand Forks, Detroit Lakes, and other locations.
