Henkel and Carbon Expand Strategic Partnership to Provide Customers Superior Materials and Printing Capabilities


Carbon DLS will give customers more choices than ever, which will allow teams to produce better products in a shorter time frame, from design to production.

REDWOOD CITY in Calif., Nov. 15, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — FORNEXT — Henkel and Carbon announced today that they have expanded their strategic partnership to offer several new resins. These new resins will be available on the Carbon idea to production platform by 2023. This comes after the launch of LOCTITE IND405 clear, a hard, clear resin used in production applications like enclosures and housings.

Loctite, Formnext 2022 fully validated for shipping, is a photopolymer epoxy resin with high stiffness, high-temperature resistance and high stiffness. It is ideal for engineers and product designers looking to quickly and easily print molds, fixtures, or manufacturing tools with smooth surfaces. The tool can also be used in high heat applications such as industrial, consumer and automotive. In 2023, additional resins will be available from the growing partnership.
