Owens Image & Design awarded for work in state print competition

Arkansas Professional Photographers Association named Greg Owens the 2023 Photographer-of-the-Year.

It’s the second time in a row that he’s received this award.

This award is part of the APPA Image Competition where entries are evaluated using the 12 Elements of a Merit Image defined by Professional Photographers of America.

Owens was the winner of the competition, with Owens submitting the most images.

He also received two print awards for distinguished prints, as well as a print that won first place in the Commercial Division.

Owens specializes in commercial, senior portrait, and headshot photography. He also has his full Fellowship award, which is based upon years of experience, as well as points earned through print competitions. He currently serves on the board as president for APPA.
